For those of us of a certain age, the memories of our Xbox 360 bring a sense of nostalgia for childhood.
Now Mattel is looking to capitalize on these warm memories of youth by targeting the adults those kids turned into.
Mattel announced a Mega Blok version of the classic Microsoft gaming platform, complete with a controller and a Blok version of the game Halo.
This hits so many levels of nostalgia and we're here for it

Microsoft first launched the Xbox 360 in 2005 and within a few years, the console was in more than 80 million homes worldwide.
The platform was discontinued in 2016, replaced by newer platforms like the PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch.
Mattel has a number of kits aimed at young adults including a variety of ships and vehicles inspired by the game Halo, Pokemon characters, and Hot Wheel cars.
Mega Bloks are building blocks similar to Legos, and this new round of kits from Mattel takes a page out of the Lego catalog.
Lego has made millions targeting adults with more complicated kits for adults, including architectural kits like the Eiffel Tower and the Taj Mahal, and movie and show tie-ins such as Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Friends.
Mattel launched a set of kits for Mega Bloks for its Barbie line which is timely now with the worldwide summer phenomenon The Barbie Movie.Â
But these adult kits do not come cheap.
The Lego Millennium Falcon kit comes with 7500 pieces and runs a cool $800.
The Mega Blok Xbox 360 kit is a relative steal, by comparison, with 1342 pieces for $150.
The kit will be available in early October 2023 but get in line now because the pre-orders for the kit have already sold out in many places.
