Newegg is a computer aficionado’s paradise selling electronics components since 2001 to more than 36 million customers in 50 countries.
While Newegg does sell components themselves, they also rely on third-party vendors to bolster their offerings.
With the abundance of third-party vendors on the website, how does Newegg ship its products and how long will it take to get them?
How Long Does It Take Newegg To Ship?
Newegg’s U.S. Domestic shipping policy states that products that are listed as “Sold and Shipped by Newegg” will be shipped within one to two business days of order placement.
Newegg offers three-day, two-day, and one-day shipping options, as well as Newegg ground and Super Eggsaver Shipping, measured in business days.
Newegg does not ship on Saturdays or U.S. holidays.
That means that, depending on the shipping method you choose, your product will be delivered to you anywhere from 2 days post order placement to 9 days post order placement.
How Long Does It Take To Ship Newegg Products Sold By Third-Party Vendors?
Newegg holds its third-party vendors, also known as Marketplace Sellers, accountable for quick processing and shipping.
Newegg requires Marketplace Sellers to process orders within 72 hours of order placement.
However, this is not a guarantee of delivery time from Newegg.
If the Marketplace Seller’s Policy Page states a different timeline for shipping standards, the shipping standard of the Marketplace Seller will override the Newegg shipping policy.
If the item is marked as “Sold and Shipped” rather than “Sold and Shipped by Newegg,” then it is coming from a Marketplace Seller, and their policy page should be inspected to determine shipping times.
Does Newegg Offer Fast Shipping?
Yes, Newegg does offer fast shipping.
Newegg offers one-day shipping for the fastest delivery time.
Newegg does not guarantee same-day shipping but reserves the right to one to two days of processing time before shipment.
An order placed with one-day shipping can take up to a maximum of three days post order placement to arrive.

- APO/FPO/DPO shipping– APO/FPO/DPO shipping is offered by Newegg and will have an estimated delivery time of 2 to 6 weeks. This whipping option is only available to products Sold and Shipped by Newegg and is not available for products sold by a Marketplace Seller. Where Does Newegg Usually Ship From?
All orders Sold and Shipped by Newegg are shipped out of one of four warehouses in the U.S.
Newegg warehouses are located in Tennessee and New York, with two warehouses located in California.
Items sold by Marketplace Sellers are shipped from the seller’s location unless the seller has opted to enroll in the Shipped by Newegg, or SBN program.
What Is The Shipped By Newegg Program?
The Shipped by Newegg or SBN program is designed to aid Marketplace Sellers in order fulfillment.
When a Marketplace Seller enrolls in the SBN program, their products are shipped to a Newegg warehouse for storage.
When a customer purchases the item from the Marketplace Seller through Newegg, Newegg packages and ships the order for the Marketplace Seller for a fee.
This allows the Marketplace Seller to sell their products without the worry of processing and shipping each order.
How Much Does Newegg Charge For Shipping?
Newegg shipping costs vary depending on the size and weight of the package and the delivery method.
While Newegg does not offer a set Free Shipping rule, such as on orders over $150, they do offer free shipping on a large number of items.
When you proceed to checkout and enter the delivery address, all available shipping options will be displayed with their corresponding prices and estimated shipping costs.
Newegg’s shipping costs align with current industry standards.
How Does Newegg Process Orders So Quickly?
Newegg processes an estimated 40,000 orders per day out of its four warehouses.
To aid in order fulfillment, Newegg uses a warehouse automation process called Perfect Pick to help employees process and package items.
The Perfect Pick system is designed to store and retrieve the most commonly sold products on Newegg in a vertical structure to maximize space and efficiency.
When a product in the Perfect Pick system is ordered, a small robot called an iBOT is deployed to retrieve the item and deliver it to a warehouse employee who then packages the item.
This automation decreases the time that it would take for a warehouse employee to physically retrieve each item, decreasing processing time and increasing throughput.
Can You Return An Item To Newegg?
Yes, Newegg offers a comprehensive return policy.
For standard returns, Newegg’s policy requires that the item must be registered for a Return Merchandise Authorization, or RMA number prior to return.
The return must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date of the product.
Newegg will provide a return label for products up to 50 lbs. at no cost to the customer and does not charge a restocking fee.
Once Newegg receives the returned item, it takes two to four days for the returned item to be inspected and processed.
For Marketplace Seller returns, the Seller has up to 10 days to inspect and process the return.
If the item was returned for a refund, the refund will be credited back to the original payment method.
For items returned for replacement, after the return inspection and processing, the replacement item will be processed in one to two business days.
Newegg also offers store credit for returns in the form of a Newegg Store Gift Card which will be sent via email to the customer one to two days after the return has been processed.
Does Newegg Place Restrictions On Returns?
While Newegg does have a very inclusive return policy, like accepting returns for a single dead pixel on a monitor or TV, it does place some restrictions on returns.
Newegg does not accept returns on consumable products such as printer ink and CD/DVDs or on manufacturer only returns.
Newegg also does not accept products that have exceeded the products lifespan from overuse such as overused GPUs.
Newegg also reserves the right to deny a return upon inspection for various reasons.
- The item condition does not match the reason stated for the return.
- The item’s identifying numbers have been tampered with such as serial number labels, UPC codes, or model and parts numbers.
- The product is returned incomplete. This includes all original packaging, manuals, and peripheral components such as cords.
- The product is physically damaged, although some exceptions may be taken with this rule if the product was damaged during shipping.
- Products which have had a mail-in rebate applied to them.
- Products with any sign of vandalism such as writing on the original packaging or obvious signs of tampering.
What Does Newegg Sell?
Newegg is known as primarily a computer component marketplace.
However, Newegg has been expanding its offering to include 30 distinct categories.
These categories are highly diverse and include sporting goods, pet supplies, outdoor and garden, office supplies, musical instruments, motorcycles and power sports, home improvement, health and personal care, food and beverage, beauty, bags and luggage, apparel and accessories, and arts and crafts.
Newegg aims to be a global e-commerce marketplace providing an optimal shopping experience no matter what country you are shopping in.
Is Newegg A Safe Site?
Yes, Newegg is a safe, legitimate, and reliable site.
The overarching concept behind Newegg is to provide an e-commerce atmosphere that offers reliable products for reasonable prices as well as offering top-notch customer service and fast shipping.
Newegg has an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau but does have a less-than-impressive 1.9-star rating from customer reviews.
Consumer Affairs rates Newegg at 2.8 stars based on reviews by verified purchasers.
However, the majority of the negative reviews are not related to the security of the website itself.
What Is The Newegg Shuffle?
The Newegg Shuffle is a marketing strategy intended to offer customers the opportunity to purchase highly desirable products with limited availability such as GPUs.
The Newegg Shuffle is essentially a lottery-style service.
The winners of the shuffle are given the opportunity to purchase the specified product during a set period.
Newegg developed the Newegg Shuffle in response to the increased supply crisis affecting products, especially highly technical products like GPUs.
In a traditional e-commerce setting, a product is listed as available when a shipment of inventory arrives.
The item is then marked as available on the e-commerce site.
With highly limited and desired products, however, when the product was marked as available, a massive spike would occur on the site with numerous buyers attempting to purchase a very limited quantity of product.
In response to this overwhelming demand and frenzy for limited products, Newegg developed the Newegg Shuffle which essentially only allowed a certain number of randomly chosen customers the chance to purchase the product.
Another reason for the development of the Newegg Shuffle was to eliminate unfair purchasing advantages, such as bots, which could be used by resellers to buy out the inventory to resell for profit.
How Do You Enter The Newegg Shuffle?
To enter the Newegg Shuffle, you must have a valid Newegg account, and it is recommended that you download the Newegg application.
When you choose an item in the Newegg Shuffle, the option to Add to Cart will be replaced with an Enter the Shuffle option.
If your account is chosen as a Shuffle winner, you will be notified via the Newegg app or email that your account was chosen and the item has been added to your cart.
The deadline for completing the purchase will be displayed in the winner notification.
You must purchase the product within the specified time frame.
You are not required to purchase the product.
You can decline the purchase and another winner will be chosen.
What Items Are Offered In The Newegg Shuffle?
Currently, the NVIDIA RTX 30 Series GPUs, AMD Radeon 6000 series GPUs, AMD Ryzen 5000 series CPUs, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 consoles are some of the options which have been available in the Shuffle.
One fact to note, however, is the price of the GPUs offered is higher than the listed MSRP of the product.
This is not due to Newegg’s markup but to the inflated cost of production for the manufacturers of the GPU, which is significantly higher than the original MSRP.
How Do You Keep The Shuffle Fair?
Newegg uses monitoring systems to keep track of user accounts and potential dummy accounts which could be used to increase someone’s odds of winning the shuffle.
Users with multiple accounts are flagged and prevented from entering the Shuffle.
Newegg also uses signature recognition and heuristics-based detection to identify and block bot activity.
Users who employ technical advantages such as auto refreshers, loaders, and crawlers can also be identified, and their IP addresses will be banned from the entire Newegg site.
How Many Shuffles Can I Enter?
Newegg allows a user to enter as many Shuffles as they wish, but they cannot enter the same Shuffle more than once.
If a user is chosen as a winner of a Shuffle, this will not impact their chances of being chosen as the winner of another Shuffle.
Newegg also does not penalize a user for declining to purchase the product if they are chosen as the winner.
